The Raspberry Pi has a large footprint that’s well suited to building desktop systems.
The Pi is also cheap, and can easily be made from a few parts.
The hardware to build this build, though, is a bit different from the hardware that’s normally used for a PC builder.
You’ll need a PC board, which can be bought from a hardware store or made at home.
The board will typically cost between $20-$40, depending on the size and design of the board.
For a budget builder, we recommend the Raspberry Pi Mini.
The Mini is a smaller version of the Pi that’s more compact.
